

Preparing for the End, p.4 It was a dreary night to say the least. Cold winds lashed across the city, emphasized by the lack of any natural light courtesy of the clouds above. A light rain fell, hardly perceptible to human eyes, but constant enough to slick the ground and further chill the air. Traffic was nearly dead, the students that usually filled the town already having fled for the holidays.
